What are your favorite wholesome little niches of the internet?
It's easy to feel doomerish about the stats of humanity based on what you see in normie portions of the web, but I've found that small enough communities are capable of still fulfilling the original promise of the internet. Especially communities surround less popular or old fashioned hobbies/interests. Sometimes I find myself feeling like these are "modern secrets" that I don't want to share for fear of becoming too big, but the reality is that that's not a realistic risk. So I'd love to hear what your favorite wholesome communities are.
For my part, I'd present you with the YouTube woodworking community. The people who are able to make a name for themselves tend to be mostly chill, down to earth, educational, and artistic. There's a couple channels that are a little try-hard, but that's definitely the exception to the rule. As an introduction, I present you with everyone's favorite suburban stoner grandpa, Frank Howarth. Even if you have literally zero interest in woodworking, you should watch at least one of his videos for the production value alone.
