It's that time of year again...from January 16th to the 20th a who's who of spooks, billionaires, ruling class and celebrities will come together at Davos Switzerland to lecture us common folk on how we should be living our lives, more often than not advocating for "solutions" which decrease the overall quality of life and rights for the rest of us, while they make no qualms of the hypocrisy that is flying in on private jets to discuss the urgency of climate change.

If you are unfamiliar with the World Economic Forum (WEF) then you may know them as the main peddlers of the often memed concepts "you will own nothing and be happy", "the great reset", bug eating, living in a pod, and more. The WEF's influence can be seen in high levels of global governance, although just how deep the WEF's influence runs is up for debate. The WEF is headed by Klaus Schwab, who founded it in 1971. You can see him in the video below discussing just how "successful" the WEF has been.

What separates the WEF from the stereotypical shadow societies you see popularized in fiction is how open they are about their intent. If we're going to keep the comparisons in line with contemporary fiction, it's akin to the villain monologuing their success and future plans for control.

I feel it is worth keeping an eye on what comes about this WEF summit so one can get an idea of what's to come in terms of ruling class rhetoric, purposed legislation and corporate enforced trends. WEF have been big proponents of internet censorship in the form of "fact checking" and deplatforming as well.

With all the attention the WEF has received over the last few years, how the hell do these guys manage to host this summit without any sort of major protests/opposition? Even the G20 summits manage to get a decent turn out of opposition, albeit subverted. Wouldn't it be such a shame if we saw a J6th/Brazil type situation in Davos one day...

One of the things that sketches me out a lot about WEF is just how little information there is about Schwab himself. For being such good friends with the global ruling elite, no one seems to know his origin, exactly where his money came from, how he met all these people, how he got the WEF to be such a big deal, etc., etc.. Fuck the WEF and everyone who attends. The world would be so much better without it and the people who attend.

Ironically enough, "Own nothing and be happy" is probably going to be a reality at some point, just not any time soon.
As technology advances, at some point it's going to be much more resource efficient to simulate physical objects in full immersion VR than actually producing them to own, at which point people will probably have access to basically everything online, reducing cost to the point where a low monthly fee gets you every piece of human entertainment and art in existence.

There is a long way to go before that's feasible and attempting to implement it now would just blow up on itself.

Been trying to find a list of who all is attending, it is crucial WEF shills be identified and held accountable. Does such a list exist? Been searching around but can't find much.

In practice yes. In their minds they are governing for the people. Hence the tag-line stakeholder capitalism. They define it as corporations acting in accordance with the people who have a stake in how things turn out, employees, consumers, future humans who have to live with the aftermath of the corporation's actions, etc. This sounds like an ethical approach on paper.
But, like I said, in practice it plays out differently.
Relying on flawed science to justify an international unelected body to tax the carbon footprint of countries. Relying on flawed science to justify international unelected officials to control the farming of countries. Hence the protests by Norwegian farmers. Relying on flawed science to dictate the meat consumption of 'stakeholders'. So on and so forth.

I think we have to create a list and create levels. The criterion to be listed in this list is:
- If you have attended a WEF event, you are on the list
- If you have participated in anything related to the WEF, you are on the list

The two levels are:
- Level 1: Direct WEF Officials and Others
- Level 2: Useful Idiots (Those who aren't a part of the WEF, but who attend their events and associate themselves with the WEF).

Klaus Schwab would be on the list and be Level 1 in terms of classification. Trudeau would be on the list and be Level 2 in terms of classification.
