I wouldn't start it to start with. And I didn't. Darn, my channel is right there under my avatar, you can right away see the kind of videos I'm doing. I do not have any kind of monetization on my channel and I barely earned anything from rare donations throughout the years I've been running it.
2- This post wasn't even me trying to justify what I'm doing, it was to discuss morality. But doing that is "pestering" now.
Everyone and their mom already told you that it is incorrect to do what you are doing. That's pretty much about it. What do you want to discuss here?
1-I don't want to work a shit job.
Then you stay poor, working part-time whenever you can, getting permanent jobs when times are too hard.
And try not to whine about it too much.
That's what I've been doing for years at this point.
Listen, it's really easy in this case: either money or - well, for me it's principles, but in general, I don't know, how to call it... moral purity? Whatever. Either way, there's really not much to discuss here.
You want money and don't want to be a wageslave - OK, fine, it's understandable. Relatable, even. But what you are doing is not cool, though no one's really gonna bash you about it too much, unless you'll create threads like this, where you want to, uh... "discuss morality". Because there's really nothing to discuss here.
Frankly, it just sounds like you want to say "come on, guys, I'm not that bad, morally-wise". You are. Discussion over.
Otherwise, if you want to discuss anything about it - then, perhaps, start something? I skipped through the whole thread and didn't find even the most banal "morality is subjective" take from you. You just repeat "I want to discuss morality" - fine, do it!
There's more discussion in this thread about Bitcoin and economics from you. And the only take about morality is that you "do not believe in it". Fat lot of fine discussion points.
Being moral is cool and all, but if history has any lesson to impart, it is that the feeling of being moral is the bastion of a losers' wounded ego whereas the winner was far more concerned with imparting his will onto the world.
I'm truly struggling to name examples here. Well, aside from several assholes. Sure, they were... "winners", but history pretty much remembered them as absolute assholes... whom they were.
Your takes are so... edgy, for the lack of a better word. I feel like you are only writing them out to be a focal point of a local counter-culture or something, since you seem like the only one who is making them.
And to top it off, you really don't feel like following your own advice, it seems, because you are not against "engaging in practical hypocricy" or however you've put it in another thread.
