Just joined, no idea what I'm doing really and I'm probably going to get board of this site the way I have almost every other forum or social media I've used.
Oh well.
Also as per the usual on this account, here's some eye candy for y'all
Ever since i played Disillusion i've been meaning to draw Mel! Though the colors kinda stumped me a bit. If anyone has any advice as to how to make it more accurate, don't be shy to leave a comment!

Is it just me or did everyone have that one friend who once asked, "Hey what do you think of my girlfriend, hot right?" And then proceeded to fumble the answer and make them slightly upset. (I said no and got my leg kicked)
My favorite cartoon trope is when animals have human thoughts that can't be communicated to humans, but can mutually understand one another by nature of being animals

It's spyware and basically the equivalent of digital drugs, so idk, don't see anything wrong with banning it tbh.

>no, you can only use OUR state sponsored spyware!
>no, only WE have the right to all of your private information!

Ideally they'd use anti-trust law to break up all of these big social media sites, but won't happen. A tiktok ban is probably still a net positive for society, even if it just singles out one (probably the worst) culprit.
For the past few months I've been driving past an old Mc Donalds that's been under construction to be "modernized". Seeing the thing be finally be completed and turned into a souless black and silver cube is banal yet alienating. It's pointless in the grand scheme of things but seeing it almost everyday on my commute was something of a set piece.

Normally I wouldn't care enough to blogpost about this but I drove past it at such an angle tonight where I realized that it doesn't even look like a restaurant anymore, it just looks like a factory.
the brainfog seems to be strong these days. need more time i can spend drinking actually nice tea and thinking about what to do with myself instead of drinking coffee and forcing my decrepit vessel to work

what do you even call that weird speech impediment where people replace letters with 'W' for example i would say completely accurate they would say compwetewy accuwet and it makes me wanna punch them purely out of frustration
You guys ever get that feeling where you're about to go to bed and you finally realize the solution to that dumbass idiot coding problem you're having and you think "Eh I'm tired I don't want to do that right now I'll do it in the morning..." and then it's just fucking gone. God I hate the Godot engine it shouldn't be this hard to make two objects interact.
Can anyone who's played both base DS2 and SotFS confirm that the original release is better? I've tried playing DS2 on three separate occasions and have fucking hated it every time. I know it's not gonna fix shit like ADP, basic movement being complete ass, or terrible hit boxes, but if enemy placements alone are more thought out and generally provide for a more enjoyable experience, then I'd be more than happy to give it a final shot before I write it off forever.
Has anyone heard of monerica? It's basically a list of businesses that accept monero. It's actually quite interesting, but I've been thinking alot about crypto lately. To many people are using crypto as a way to invest and get rich quick instead of using it as a currency. And everyone that accumulates immediately wants to convert it to "real" money. Even on darknet markets where illegal goods are sold, as soon as they make accumulate a lot of crypto, they instantly want to convert it to cash. No one wants to keep the cryptocurrency as is and use it as a currency, or work for it. Since only a small few actually attempt to use it as intended, I'm starting to think that it will never take off... What do you guys think?
