but, idk if u've seen my web, I'm trying to replicate the windows directory UI similar to my logbox !

I got help w jQ tho, I was closing every label checkbox instead of just the siblings (if this makes any sense)

Oh, interesting. The logbox is done entirely with CSS by styling entries next to hidden checkboxes. Couldn't you replicate that without pulling in jQuery?

yes! but js was necessary for hiding all others when u click one and adjust z-indexes so jQ was easier to handle that
