Tbh, i live by the rule of "don't believe everything you see on the internet" and i still live by that idea, again and again internet has always proven these "misteries" and most of the time is just artistic projects from someone, there is no paranormal stuff so believing it on the internet is even dumber.
Regarding worldscorp entreprises, yeah that was an ARG that went wrong, i think the artist move out to made some other stuff.
But how else are youtube hacks like Nexpo and Plagued Moth (plus a million even less talented clones) meant to make spooky horror content on the web if not by intentionally exagerating the severity of online hoaxes or falling for /x/ bait?
