sometimes my brain goes 'hmmmmm' at how small this place really is. 6 years and only 6000~ accounts. then you look over the awards and find that roughly 10% of those accounts bothered to post 10 posts on here. i search it online and only get a handful of >reddit posts (half of which were made by illuminatipirate) and each one only has a few dozen upvotes and like 5-9 comments which are either "yeah its a cool place" and nothing else or someone who thinks its a right wing hellhole because they saw a single post from no_chill and jumped to conclusions. theres that dead theory article but most people ive seen online who talk about dead theory barely give out a source and the ones i have seen usually give it to/x/.

its definitely not some super secret darknet type thing, since its got scripts to google analytics and cloudflare insights. but this place is as hidden as it gets in the clearnet.

i like that this sites design is anti-doomscrolling. slow place with not a lot of threads so you cant really get hooked into the habit. and if you do decide to binge on some of the stuff here i doubt youll be as miserable as if you were to go on some other site. good stuff.
