Nah I kept my response short because anyone that really goes into detail about it just sounds like they're malding but my response I think got misinterpreted which is 100% my fault.
Firstly, I'm on Agora Road where there's regular discussions about dickriding the future technocratic demi-gods like they're Roko's basilisk, and conspiracy theories about the color caps of milk being a psyop to push 1% or some shit like that so I'm not really a stranger to manic behavior on the internet I don't think. Also idgaf about Sewerslvt personally. I think they made good music, had a semi-rotten lot in life, and a quick once-over of the story of them is interesting and unfortunate. Otherwise Sewerslvt doesn't occupy more than 30 minutes of my mind once every 6 months or so while I listen to half an album of theirs.
The thing I don't like about the community that surrounds her aren't necessarily the people that are out of touch with reality, or the more vocal fans that love or hate her, but the stupid ass rage baiting that comes with the new interaction motived algorithm culture. These people with absolutely
NO talent at all who can only find their place online by rage baiting a particularly responsive fanbase to interact with what they made for clout online. Again algorithms across the board love this kind of shit, youtube, twitter, instagram, they all apparently profit off of this model of operation and then you end up with unethical behaviors in the pursuit of gaming these systems and I find that particularly prevalent in Sewerslvt's orbiters. Examples:

Now in the pursuit of a stitch of an online following or a few $$ people can make shovelware-type music, compilations, or articles and just title it something ridiculous and offensive and get rewarded for it. 10 years ago this used to be a little funny to do with a ridiculous community or a community that took itself too seriously, and you could say "just trolling lol <3" But to my knowledge these are people who were actually trying to make it in music and found that making 10 shitty songs in FLstudio a day wasn't going to cut it and needed a new angle. That top image person in particular is in this weird ass 3-way content farm that tries to find success in just flooding YT, Soundcloud, and Twitter with reposts in the hope that one of them will take off:

Again don't have the first issue with Sewerslvt, her music is alright. Don't have an issue with most of Sewerslvt's fans but on-the-whole it does attract a certain kind of person and a chunk of that demographic fucking sucks.
I also like several 100 gecs songs and several more of Laura Les's solo songs.
