Deep/Dark Web question ?

What is the best way to access the Deep/Dark web. I know you use tor to do it but is there like a good search engine. To be more specific I want to read and search info that you don't get at the top of the Ice Burg. So basically is there a Deep/Dark web version of a search engine.

The Deep Web is a waste of time for the most part, I hate how YouTubers have hyped it up to be this big, scary place when really its just used for drugs, pornography, and weapons mostly.

I can tell you're probably some kid who is curious though, wanting to dig up some creepy mystery on there or whatever, so watch this and don't do anything that would get you a knock on your door.

DuckDuckGO is the only mainstream one that doesn't block Tor usage. And like @Kolph said, do some basic security. Although I never was so paranoid to use a vm. I just run tor browser on my desktop with javascript blocked and though it was good enough. If my nudes end up on the net I'll just ask people who are laughing at them to prove theirs is bigger and that will in most cases be the end of the convo.

Honestly though, most fun stuff stuff to be found on the dark net is when some crackhead posts a site that link to more sites. Although it's nothing that interesting too. It's just people selling crack and imageboards for people who are really paranoid.

Tails was that Linux distro, my good friend. I too remember the days off booting Tails off a stolen USB, on a laptop bought from a pawn shop, tearing out the wifi card and hdd, using a usb wifi device, and wiping the firmware off the chipset.

Thanks for the reply. I have found plenty of info with out using the deep/dark web. The simple thing is using non google/meta websites is good enough.

I mostly use tor now to access sites blocked by my ISP like 8ch and tpb, also I'm paranoid so I download my z-lib.org books from there as well also some books aren't accessible without using it. There are search engines but most people I think just use directory sites, they usually have a category for search engines, but my experience with them is absolute junk and I wouldn't recommend them.
