no, it's just girls getting money. it's the destilled form of online streams. On twitch you might stream a game and talk to your audience and then when someone donates, you read the donation message or say "thank you".
THIS is how it started. People were incetivised to donate money because the streamer then gives your message special attention, it's simple business model.

Now these tiktok streams boiled it down to the essence of that mechanic: They do NOTHING but react to donations which means that the black girl in the 2nd vid farmed 20k$ in 1 hour and 30 minutes off of people who just wanted to see her react to their little 2$ donation.

Callum from the Lotuseaters hits the nail on the head while his co-host is a retarded boomer that doesn't know how the internet works. There is no conspiracy or brainwashing going on. It's just a logical conclusion of the format "internet livestream with monetary incentive"

Kann wahrscheinlich sein, und ich denke mir das oft, dass Leute die hier eher Anklang finden, die sind welche eventuell in Natura wenig soziale Kontakte haben und das Internet eher als das Outlet für die soziale komponente ist?

Das kann es natürlich sein; Ich seh dich halt meistens bei solchen Fäden/Themen und vielleicht daher auch meine Assoziation zwischen dir und Rightoid-Talking Points.
Aber gibt genug "normale" Agora Road-Nutzer. Sicherlich sind hier welche stark autistisch oder sonst wie mental krank, aber bei denen, mit denen ich so Kontakt hab, hab ich das Gefühl die stehen fest im Leben. Zugegeben, das sind auch die, die sich meist aus den politischen Fäden fernhalten.

I've seen this sentiment a lot on the road where people seem to care too much about how much attention their threads get. I think all of us have posted plenty of threads that got little to no attention but that's fine. Posting threads should be something that you do for you alone. Maybe you get a good discussion out of it maybe not but the important part is that you posted it because the topic was interesting to you. Ironically I'm writing up a thread right now that I think won't get past a single page of replies but I really just want to write it up anyway just for its own sake

I know what you mean but its just, some threads "explode" instantly and others get barely any views despite the topics being similar. And then you have people complaining about walls of texts too.
At what point would a thread be better suited as blog post? But many blogs have lively comment sections too
