A 27"-34" main monitor on the center, ideally 3440x1440 if ultra wide or 2560x1440 at 144hz-170hz adding one 24"-27" vertical monitor on the side. Or just two 24"-27" monitors side by side with the second positioned at 15-30 degree angle to the primary monitor.

Vr Headset with desktop capabilities.
Sure, you may look kinda dumb with a VR Headset there but at least no one can see what you're doing over your shoulder.

My hot take is that nobody needs more than maybe 2 screens for leisure activities (gaming, movies, chatting, etc.).
Wrong. The more the merrier.

I've come to the conclusion that 4k is not a great choice for most people
I genuinely don't see a reason to use 4K for anything. It seems uselessly expensive and apparently it makes 1080p look bad(?). I'll just stick with my 1080p displays.

My setups for the last several years have had at least two 27" monitors. Preferably three for software development since one monitor can be used for editing, one for viewing the results, and one for tailing the log or watching chat
