You pay the casino to pull a lever/press a button. If you find an exploit or get lucky with decent odds, you sit there as long as possible and then don't go back to that machine (they will have fixed it).

This was your mistake, playing a game rigged in the casino's favor. The only game I'd play in a casino is poker, since that's a player vs player game and the casino makes money no matter what. Furthermore poker is fun and highly skill based (not to say there isn't luck involved, but skill is just as important a factor).

If you're going down the gambling route i'd suggest you look in to card counting for blackjack. it's a bit of a grey area but it's technically cheating but not stated as such, however casnios hate card counters because they know you can make money off them, if they suspect that you're card counting then they'll kick you out for "tresspassing"

I heard there are some places where you can go and exchange money for standing around all day. It's called something like a "cinema" or a "shop job". I think it has way more return than gambling.

If you're intent on gambling though, look out for those machines which turn $20 notes into $1 coins. They have the best return and I've never made any losses on those.

Yep, different slots for different play styles. High volatility, low volativity games that either pay bigger (but less often) or more often (but smaller wins)... Progressive machines have that nice big number at the top you could win, but you're feeding that pool for the next guy honestly - not my favorite games to play. Usually 2...3...$400 is enough to get a feel for a machine and how it plays (get a bonus or two, whatever). The people that 'win' are making full use of the club cards: getting that freeplay the next time they come in, getting free or discounted food... it's not an investment strategy, it's an expensive hobby.

Take out a personal loan and put all the money towards this year's underdog in the superbowl. Dont pay the loan off if you win and continue to entrench yourself in a life stealing addiction. I already did invest quite a bit in mutual funds so I think my old-age is well covered.
I can afford to spend a little on distractions, because I don't think anyone really expects a win. You have to be realistic with what you're buying, and that is hope, hope that all your money problems will go away. But for far too many, that hope can become addictive and they live for that dream of a new life.

Your life is what you have, take your cards, make the best plays. You don't have to have the two parent background, you don't have to go to college. Your life is what you make of it using the cards you have.

And lastly, comparison is the thief of happiness. You should only compare against yourself, because only then is it an accurate measurement.

No, and you shouldn't play slot machines, is actually the one thing you had the most chances to lose of all casino games, so no offense bro, but you should changed for a game like poker or blackjack, better yet mutual funds or stock markets, same shit but at least you can impress old people (worthless flex)

Moneymaxxing via gambling is fun, but i recommend stealing. You may need to speedmax, weaponmax, and stealthmax before you begin this or else you may end up prisonmaxxing for a few years.
