I believe success in life is doing whatever you like and feel good and noone can change your mood, I believe the definition of a successful life varies from person to person, personally I exercise naturally, I don't waste money on a monthly subscription and Karen's bs, a beautiful calisthenics park in the woods that luckily i have near my house and I'm fine, I believe that happiness is found in the simple things and you certainly don't get it nor with an abundance of material goods, I also don't think anyone talked about success, but a more qualitative way of life.

I think if it's very first time you've seen something motivational, it might affect you for maybe a couple hours, at best. Also, while porn is degenerate, it's not the root cause of the problems people face and admonishing people to correct a symptom won't do much. Finally, while self-improvement is nice and all, there's only two situations in which it will abide over time: either, by nature, you enjoy the activity or you have some responsibility that keeps you on that treadmill. TL;DR it's whatever, I guess. Won't hurt, but won't help much either.

The one who caused this mess was the state. They do this to you because when you're emasculated, you're easy to control. When a man is not manly, he is miserable. If you try to organize against your emasculation, you will be subverted, censored, and ostracized by the state. Ergo, you will not find many places left to go where you can find like minds who would help you. It gets worse every year; the younger you are, the less you'll know how things used to be, thus the more confused you'll be. The only way to help young men is to take the state and bend it to your purpose. All other answers are just a form of cope.

At a time I found this sort of thing silly, but I've come to realize that regardless of what my thoughts on it are there is an excellent aspect of these videos. It's hijacking the meme format of today to spread a message about improving yourself. It delivers them exactly to the people who need it most, which are guys who spend all their time on their phone or computer, watching Youtube. Clearly their parents, friends, school, workplace, etc. have failed to make their life good, and they must take action within, but they do not feel like it yet. Even if these videos will only inspire them for a few hours, that's a seed for future growth because It introduces the idea that you can take action over your life and make it better. Maybe it won't be the video that does it but something else in the future to make him change, but it has to start somewhere.
Yes I'm aware there is the unsavoury side to this, of course there is. I think that's a much preferable state than letting mens live go before their eyes, until they die full of regret.

Those types of motivational videos are just self-help fast food tier material marketed towards zoomers imo, so I agree with @Caspar that it probably does nothing other than pumping dopamine into your brain temporarily to create an incentive that will probably disappear the next day. In order to achieve permanent lifestyle changes, it is first necessary for people to develop a will to live a fulfilling and virtuous life, since then they should learn to be responsible for the self and seek motivation internally. We have an ongoing depression epidemic and to those chronically depressed, those vids are utterly useless since they are only answering the question "HOW to live a good life" (and in the most ambiguous and general way possible), but not "WHY should we live a good life", what the nihilistic generation actually needs.

The most stable motivation I have found personally stems from random moments of my life that accidentally become a pivotal changing point, or books that stimulate my curiosity to explore more.
