Welcome to the 7th mensual Agora Road Travelogue!
Initially inspired by the Bring Back Blogging movement, this is an Agora Road version to encourage y'all to WRITE STUFF!

A: Feel free to submit blog posts here on the forum. But its BIGLY encouraged to make one! It's not too hard to start, don't let perfect get in the way of good, let your crude initial aesthetic be, let your content shine. The Personal Web thread may be able to point you in the right direction.

Yes, and in fact, many of the designs and names in dark souls are ripped directly from King's Field

This independent literary magazine is looking for submissions that are set, reflect upon, or remind of the early 2000's (1997-2007). They accept all types of fiction, poetry, non-fiction, essay, art, etc. as long as it is 1999 words or less. Multiple submissions allowed!

You know, I too have had the blessed experience of having a wonderful guide. Hell, I've actually been a tour guide myself, though nowhere near as good as the one I'm recalling ofc. There's always something so unique about them; they all have their personalities and quirks. Similar to teaching a little, in the sense of group dynamics and group size mattering. Fabio was my (and my friends) guide through the bush, I liked his style so much that at the end I asked him, 100% seriously, what would be the number #1 thing you'd want to ensure to pass on to your kid and he said, more or less: "There's no perfect way to do anything, do your thing and do it your way!"

Another interesting conversation I had with him was on the difference between the tourist, and the traveler. But that conversation I eventually transmuted into this (old) blog post: Wherever You Go

New Digital Era's webmaster (great site btw) has taken it upon themselves to get the ball rolling with a spring solstice event. The topic for this first iteration is 'Nature'. "Some interpretations I can think of in a hot minute: mountain hiking adventures, the relationship between nature and the economy, landscape art paintings, nature and spirituality, can you be in touch with the internet and nature at the same time? if it's related to nature, you can write about it!"

On creativity



I always liked art. Making it too.

It is inheritent value of people-kind - Without it, world would be empty, meaningless for us. There would be no one there to awe over it, but animals...

But all I can do is simple, and then, very short instrumental tones, jingles. And even those repeat.

I want something more; always wanted. But it is hard. What is it worth? I did poetry too. Too, got fed up (by/) with it. All so repetitive. -

When I look at it, all the "Love" category (e.g.) of poems and stories - how does not those others got fed up, gave up and never wrote up (no/-)anything? Or is it that they are not at their sane mind; And too, spill up what is to be in the future - a "garbage"? Those types of "Chick flick" lit. Or, (one of the) the most Imfamous case(s), "My immortal"... (Or the hate 50 Shades of Grey get...)

You see, so-bad-it-is-good is genre on its own... Should I just not care, and "post" anyway? Well, you never know if you are a Champion of lo-list (/s; They say)... Impostor syndrome?

Or is it that it makes no mark - that I want to make (mark) in the world? Well, everyone wants to (for once) be famous, change world - but little amount of people, then, forget about celebs and their problems - Suffering from success...(?)

I just like... What you guys (on Agora, creators) do. I always had it (this, creative spurt) in me... It is just that, If everyone is poster, creator - then everyone has a chance... (Art elitism, barrier for entry there was before... *) and the sieve is too big for its own good - if everyone is, then, who isn't? It... starts to exclude itself from the "authors", Da Vincis...(*)

I get no idea. It feels like everything has been already done... Anything good and bad, that is...

(Is it) Same with me, - as when I think about(...) jobs - Why to lie, if then it is (like) No (more) Me (there) anymore?...



I said nothing at all, yet text is only so full. Is it made from plastic, polystyrene words, ffs? (LOL; It's so full - about nothing, innit...)

It (this idea, theme of this post...) is like fight bet Is.ween Desire (I want) and Intuition (It feels (for me) bad/good). It's intuition, tho, just patterns-seeking? And if we got our Models (patterns) wrong? - (< Maybe for the next blog post)



Anyways... How do we "know" Who "are we"(?) ...

Is there anything new to do, try - or is it just that we can go only so far as humanbin(l)d...? (/ Oversaturation to starvation.)

Heh, that's how I feel about exploring the small / personal / indie / etc. web. Early on in my digital travels I recognized that wandering through a website is just as much (if not more) about finding what you AREN'T looking for, as it is about finding what you are. Great piece, yo!
